Axis A22 Gets CIE Stamp of Approval
Brent from Boat Country, Axis dealer out of Escalon, CA, took the CIE crew out in the Axis A22 to ride and check out this new big wake boat. They were all thoroughly impressed. So much so that CIE branded the A22 with their stamp of approval. Literally... You can see the "CIE Approved" decal in this image. It's official!
Here are some quotes from the guys at CIE who participated in the test Drive N' Ride. They made this comments on WakeWorld.com's discussion board.
"I rode behind one [Axis A22] last weekend and drove it. We slammed it with sacks everywhere. (ours didn't have the big ballast system [Plug N' Play]) The wake was great. Drove nice, just like a Malibu, the wake had awesome shape. It's a nice boat." Jarrod from CIE posted on the WakeWorld.com discussion thread.
"By far the best STOCK wake I have ever seen. And it drives nice too even with the wedge down." Allen from CIE posted on the WakeWorld.com discussion thread.
"I would have to agree that it's the best stock wake I've ever ridden." Guido from CIE posted on the WakeWorld.com discussion thread.

Feedback on the Axis A22 from CIE Spring Ride
The day after CIE Spring Ride an A22 thread was posted on WakeWorld.com. Check out what the poster has to say about demoing the A22 on Mother's Day Weekend.
So at Spring Ride this last weekend I was in the Axis 22 all day on Saturday with Adam McCall from Axis. I drilled him on the boat and put it trough its paces. I have to admit it is a quality boat with a lot of features that are usable.
The boat rides solid and the wingless wind shield has its benefits. I was not able to get any spray close to coming through the missing glass loaded or not. The room in the boat is very impressive at one time there were four people in the nose and it was cozy but not cramped like you see in a lot of the front seating.
The controls for the ballast are easy to access and the 2010 will offer some serious weight with the model I was driving caring over 2000 pounds of water weight.
The wake was large and peaky with a lot of the the same characteristics Malibu lovers will find to be very familiar. There is a lot to like about the Axis and you should definitely check it out if your in the market for a new boat.

Axis Wake Research Recognizes Everyday Heroes
Heroes looking to buy an Axis Boat will receive a boat load of exclusive benefits with any custom-order 2009 A22. Axis Heroes can visit Axis Build-A-Boat to build the A22 they want. The Axis Hero Boat Buying Event also offers exclusive options that won’t be found on anything but a Hero Edition Axis boat.
Axis Heroes can create their own 2-option Hero Edition package. For the first free option they can choose from ChillAX Seating, Halogen Docking Lights or a custom Axis Hero Edition carpet insert. For the second free option heroes can pick either a bimini or a boat cover. But these options are not the end of the benefits being bestowed on Axis Heroes.
Each Axis Hero will also receive a collection of custom Hero Edition accessories as well as some Axis Wake Research swag. The exclusive “Hero Only” accessories include service-specific Hero Edition Hull Graphics (available in fire, police, military and patriotic designs) and 2 Hero Edition tow vehicle badges. This entire Axis Hero package equals more than $2000 of options and accessories.
Axis Wake Research feels very strongly about honoring everyday heroes that make a difference in our lives. That is why they are creating a Axis Hero Wall. This web page is being built to house the photos and stories of these inspirational heroes. Whether they own an Axis A22 now, are looking to buy a boat through the Axis Hero Boat Buying Event or they simply dream of owning an Axis they have a place on the Axis Hero Wall. The only prerequisite is “everyday hero” status and there is no shortage of these amazing people in North America. Axis hopes to showcase a wonderful cross section of these individuals on the Hero Wall. E-mail heroes@axiswake.com with your military, law enforcement, firefighting, teaching or medical hero story and pictures.
It is time to recognize those hard working individuals who make our safe and fruitful existence possible with the vehicle of fun and relaxation they deserve. Axis believes helping these great people get into a custom Hero Edition Axis boat is the least they can do.
Visit your local Axis dealer and order your Hero Edition Axis boat today. The Axis Hero Boat Buying Event ends June 1, 2009.
