Axis A22 Gets CIE Stamp of Approval

Brent from Boat Country, Axis dealer out of Escalon, CA, took the CIE crew out in the Axis A22 to ride and check out this new big wake boat. They were all thoroughly impressed. So much so that CIE branded the A22 with their stamp of approval. Literally... You can see the "CIE Approved" decal in this image. It's official!

Here are some quotes from the guys at CIE who participated in the test Drive N' Ride. They made this comments on WakeWorld.com's discussion board.

"I rode behind one [Axis A22] last weekend and drove it. We slammed it with sacks everywhere. (ours didn't have the big ballast system [Plug N' Play]) The wake was great. Drove nice, just like a Malibu, the wake had awesome shape. It's a nice boat." Jarrod from CIE posted on the WakeWorld.com discussion thread.

"By far the best STOCK wake I have ever seen. And it drives nice too even with the wedge down." Allen from CIE posted on the WakeWorld.com discussion thread.

"I would have to agree that it's the best stock wake I've ever ridden." Guido from CIE posted on the WakeWorld.com discussion thread.

Feedback on the Axis A22 from CIE Spring Ride

The day after CIE Spring Ride an A22 thread was posted on WakeWorld.com. Check out what the poster has to say about demoing the A22 on Mother's Day Weekend.

So at Spring Ride this last weekend I was in the Axis 22 all day on Saturday with Adam McCall from Axis. I drilled him on the boat and put it trough its paces. I have to admit it is a quality boat with a lot of features that are usable.

The boat rides solid and the wingless wind shield has its benefits. I was not able to get any spray close to coming through the missing glass loaded or not. The room in the boat is very impressive at one time there were four people in the nose and it was cozy but not cramped like you see in a lot of the front seating.

The controls for the ballast are easy to access and the 2010 will offer some serious weight with the model I was driving caring over 2000 pounds of water weight.

The wake was large and peaky with a lot of the the same characteristics Malibu lovers will find to be very familiar. There is a lot to like about the Axis and you should definitely check it out if your in the market for a new boat.

The Axis Wake Research crew posted this new video yesterday. It is a big wake lover's dream. Adam McCall, Axis Wake Research Managing Director and outlaw rider, shows you the wakeboard and surf wake behind the 2009 Axis A22. Then he pulls back the curtain and shows you how he weighted the boat to create these ramps. Mix this with some cool riding and surfing video and you have another fun and informative short movie from Axis Wake Research. Check it out.
