Axis Wake Research (@AxisWake) was announced as the 2010 Water Sports Industry Most Innovative Product of the Year by the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) September 10th at the Wakeboarding Magazine Wake Awards at Surf Expo in Orlando, FL. This 2010 WSIA Leadership Award is the first for Axis and one of the most coveted in the industry.
The Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) chose the 2011 Axis A22 wakeboard boat as the Most Innovative Product of the Year. Up against some of the most progressive companies in action sports, Axis Wake took home this top honor for the unique product and brand they have created. The company is not even 3 years old, but is already receiving accolades for superior design and innovation, not to mention recognition for brand strength they posses.
Axis attributes this success to their team. From administrators to engineers to athletes to dealers the team at Axis Wake focuses on the goals of great wakes, style, simplicity, performance and price. When asked about this award, Managing Director of Axis Wake Research, Adam McCall, had this to say. “Receiving the Product Innovation of the Year Award is a huge honor for us! WSIA honored the water sports industry's best retailers and manufacturers with a variety of 2010 Leadership Awards for outstanding efforts in advertising, promotions, and branding. Axis Wake received the 2010 WSIA Most Innovative Product of the Year Award during the Wake Awards on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Surf Expo in Orlando, FL.
Axis Wake Research marked the dawn of a new decade with the 4th video in a series featuring the Axis A22 and the riders who go insanely big behind it. Randall “The Vandall” Harris, Eddie Valdez and Melissa Marquardt demonstrate the big wakes of this simple, rugged, wake boat that is as easy on the wallet as it is on the eyes. This new video makes for great HD entertainment, but you’ll learn something too. Axis has also packed this video with a factory tour set to music.
The video opens with a few words from Adam McCall, Managing Director of Axis Wake Research, and then takes you backstage at the Axis factory. The rest of this Axis video is packed with pure West Side Rider (WSR) sessions executed by Vandall, Valdez and Marquardt.

This 8-minute video was shot in HD by JAO Productions. The factory footage was captured at Axis Wake Research in Loudon, TN and made possible by the man and women who build the A22 price-point wake boat. The riding was shot in cooperation with Vandall, Eddie and Melissa at West Side Riders (WSR) Headquarters in Paradise Lakes in California.
